Our Mission

Our mission is simple... To help guide each patient through their health journey and goals, whether it includes pain management or elimination, improved mobility and function, or an overall improved quality of life.  We believe in the importance of individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions.  We aim to both treat and educate our patients, to encourage and empower our patients to lead a healthier, more fulfilling life through the power of movement and natural solutions.

Dr. Ashley Bertorelli, PT, DPT

Owner/Founder of The Green Room

Dr. Ashley graduated from Utica College in 2008 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy after earning her Bachelor's in Health Sciences and earning Valedictorian of the Class of 2006.  Dr. Ashley has experience in a variety of settings including acute care, rehab, and outpatient.  Dr. Ashley opened the Green Room PT in 2017 after growing frustrated with the lack of one-on-one care options for patients and therapists in the Capital Region.  Dr. Ashley has received additional training in Mulligan mobilization technique, Myofascial referral technique, Spinal manipulation therapy, Total Motion Release, laser and light therapy, and Pelvic Floor Rehab, among others.  In her free time, Dr. Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and two active boys, snowboarding, running and working out, and playing drums.

Dr. Lisa Bodratti, PT, DPT

Dr. Lisa Bodratti earned her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland in 2014 followed by her Doctorate from The Sage Colleges in 2017. Lisa has worked extensively in the outpatient orthopedic realm, spending two years of her career as Clinical Director of a growing clinic. Through her time as a physical therapist, Lisa has taken numerous courses including McKenzie Method, Mulligan Mobilizations, Pelvic Health Rehabilitation, and is working toward a certification to become a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. Lisa has a strong interest in treating athletes, especially runners, of all levels and ages. In her spare time she enjoys helping to coach track & field athletes at a local high school (Go Riders!), and spending time outside with her husband and two dogs.

Dr. Elizabeth Braley, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Dr. Elizabeth Braley earned her Bachelor's and Doctorate Degrees from Ithaca College. She is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and her passion for wellness and fitness led her to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She is also certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Smart Cuffs Blood Flow Restriction training. She has additional training in vestibular rehabilitation and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. She enjoys sports medicine and has expertise with sports related concussion care.  Outside of the clinic she enjoys playing with her son and daughter, hiking, skiing, chocolate, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Allison Schroeder, PT, DPT

Dr. Allison Schroeder graduated from Northeastern University in 2017 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy after earning her Bachelor’s in Rehabilitation Science from Northeastern. Allie has worked in both outpatient and home care settings treating a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. She has taken numerous continuing education courses on orthopedic conditions and treatments, manual techniques, functional movement training, vestibular training, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, and trigger point dry needling. In her time outside of work, Allie enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, visiting family, traveling, skiing, spending time outside and rooting for Boston sports teams! (Go Red Sox!)

Dr. Daniel Chillianis, PT, DPT

Daniel graduated from Touro College as Valedictorian of his class. He also received the Highest Clinical Honor.  His passion for Physical Therapy began with his extensive time as a patient while rehabbing from two separate ACL Reconstruction Surgeries.  Daniel enjoys treating all patient populations, ranging from balance and fall prevention to high-level athletes, and approaches each with a personalized approach. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his fiancee and his dog. Daniel is Titleist Performance (TPI) Level 1 certified and enjoys working with golfers of all skill levels and ages to improve efficiency and prevent recurrent injuries allowing individuals to lengthen their golf participation!  As an avid golfer and sports fan, Dan enjoys forming a team-like alliance and working towards a common goal.

Dr. Olivia Jones, PT, DPT

Dr. Olivia Jones received her Bachelors in Health Science (2021) and Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Russell Sage College (2024). Olivia has clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics as well as pediatrics treating a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Olivia has taken continuing education courses through Herman and Wallace to gain experience in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. She also plans to further her education and receive a strength and conditioning certification. Olivia prioritizes patient-centered care and believes in teamwork to achieve the same goal. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time outside, hiking, kayaking, cooking, and trail walking with her dogs.

Dr. Taylor Lanoue, PT, DPT

Dr. Taylor Lanoue-Angley has been a physical therapist since 2017. She earned her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from The Sage Colleges. Taylor enjoys helping her patients understand that physical therapy does not have to be a "last resort" but a "first line of defense". She enjoys helping her patients meet their individual goals and achieve great health in order to live their best lives. Taylor is invested in each person she works with, always striving for their success. She truly loves what she does. She was raised locally and continues to grow her family here. Taylor participates in several community events and continuing education courses. 

Caroline Hodges, PTA

Caroline is from Lancaster, Virginia where graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Minor
in Health and Wellness with a concentration in Individuals with Disabilities before earning her PTA. Prior to joining our team, she worked for four years in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital as a therapy tech with specialized training in neurological rehabilitation.  Caroline has taken several continuing education training courses on Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy and is currently studying to earn the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification in order to serve patients of all ages and genders with pelvic floor dysfunction. Caroline recently moved to from Virginia to New York with her husband, Jordan, as he pursues his MD at AMC. In her free time, she loves to read, cook, do yoga, and spend time with her husband and their two dogs.

Dr. Caroline "Carrie" Joy, PT, DPT

Caroline, or “Carrie” received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Doctorate degree in PT at Sacred Heart University while also interning under one of her several mentors, Samara Dimattia, MPT, at CT Dance Physical Therapy. Carrie also achieved her Mat level 1 Pilates certification through Power Pilates. She completed her fourth and final clinical rotation at Westside Dance PT. Carrie worked under Andrea Zujiko, DPT, and Adrienne Gregorek, DPT, while treating NYC Ballet Dancers and School of American Ballet dancers on location, as well as treating various Broadway performers, professional/recreation dancers, and a range of musicians. Carrie is also a Certified SSOL Schroth Specialist, non-surgically treating patients with scoliosis and khyposis. Carrie is passionate about individualized care and helping others overcome physical adversities through integrative therapy. In her free time, Carrie enjoys taking ballet, Pilates, cooking, paddle boarding, skiing, and golfing.

Dr. Alex Pisanello, PT, DPT

Dr. Alexander Pisanello PT, DPT earned his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the College of Saint Rose followed by his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University after serving on active duty in the United States Navy.  Alex has experience in many disciplines of PT including orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation and pediatrics. Alex is bilingual in English and Spanish and has extensive experience in evaluating and treating patients in Spanish.   Alex appreciates providing care for a wide spectrum of patients from infants to senior citizens with a variety of conditions ranging from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and serious cardiovascular and pulmonary pathologies.  Alex supports his clinical decision making with ongoing study of the current best evidence-based practices to help licensing exam candidates prepare for the National Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant Licensing Exam.  Alex values each patient as a partner in the treatment process to optimize favorable outcomes.  In his spare time, Alex spends his time with his wife. He enjoys cycling, skiing, kayaking and fishing.

Dr. Shannon Gray, PT, DPT

Dr. Shannon received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The Sage Colleges in 2010 following the completion of her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2006. She has primarily focused her work in outpatient physical therapy where she was able to treat a wide variety of patients with a focus on functional exercise based treatment, manual therapy, and postural re-education. Her primary focus is building a relationship with patients to facilitate an individualized and meaningful path to recovery. She enjoys working with people who have general orthopedic injuries, neck or back pain, joint replacements, and anyone looking to get back to the activities they enjoy. She completed her Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Polestar Pilates in 2018 and is passionate about combining the benefits of Pilates into her rehabilitation practice. Outside of work she enjoys spending time outside, hiking with her dog, cooking, reading, and Pilates.

Amie Drzewiecki, Medical Care Coordinator

Amie has been working in the medical field doing billing for close to 30 years.  Amie is happily married with one daughter and 2 dogs.  During the Fall and Winter, Amie and her husband follow high school football as well as basketball.  During the Summer months if they are not enjoying their outdoor space at home, you can find them up at Lake George boating or camping.  Amie also enjoys reading, walking with her pups, gardening and always finding something to build at the house.

Joshua Guenther, Medical Office Assistant

Josh is currently a student at The Sage Colleges and is on the path to be entering physical therapy school with a target graduation in May 2028. In his time outside of work and school, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, hiking, playing sports, and rooting for the Toronto Bluejays.

Julianna Cunningham, Medical Care Coordinator

Julianna worked as a waitress/cook through high school.  She graduated 2 years early and started working at The Green Room her first year of College.  She finished her World Studies program at HVCC and opened her first global online store.  In her free time, Julianna enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, going to the gym, cooking, or watching boxing.  She also loves studying different religions and languages, and can play 7 instruments!

Teigan Catlin, Medical Office Assistant

With over six years of experience in customer service, she is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to those in need. Her passion for helping others extends beyond the workplace; over the past few years, she has developed a love for fitness and health. Teigan has worked in various roles, including on farms, in childcare, in kitchens, bartending, and at Planet Fitness for nearly two years, where she truly enjoys helping others reach their goals.

Sarah Mackey, Medical Care Coordinator

Sarah has worked in customer service and office administration for 10 + years.  She worked at The Green Room previously at the Troy office for 3 years before taking a brief year away to work for a family business. When not at the Green Room, you can find Sarah working as a waitress on weekends. Sarah and her husband enjoy traveling to new places and hiking everywhere they go.
